Kids Ministry at First Church
At Perrysburg First our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way. To do this, we offer Children's Church during our 10:15 am worship service, as well as a mid-week program we call Team Kid Our Nursery is also available at the 10:15 am service. Our loving staff and volunteers can't wait to meet your children!
Your First Visit
Here's what you can expect when visiting for the first time with your children:
First, just inside the front doors to your left you will see the check-in table. There we will meet your family and check your child into our system. One of our adult volunteers will be there to answer any questions you may have, and point you in the right directions.
Infants to age 4 are able to be dropped off in the nursery on the 2nd floor before service starts, while our older kids generally start in the main service with their parents, and then are excused after the offering. At that time they will be led up to the 2nd floor children's area by one of our adult volunteers. Finally, for the kids' safety, we ask the parents to come to the 2nd floor to checkout their child.

How Check-In Works
Before Service: You can check-in your child at any available kiosk. The closest one to the main entrance will be to your left as you enter the front doors. After finding your child's name in the database, you and your child will be given matching name tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit that day. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion, while you hold on to the matching tag.
During Service: In the event that we need to contact you during the service, a staff member will send you a text and or try to find you in the worship service. We ask that you exit the sanctuary immediately and look for a staff member or volunteer who will direct you to your child's room.
After Service: After the service is complete, you will return to your child's room on the 2nd floor and show your tag, in order for your child to be released back to you.
TeamKid
Join us for Team Kid Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. Team Kid is our mid-week program created for K-5th graders to come together to make new friends and grow in their love and understanding of Jesus through fun and engaging activities, games, and of course snacks! Meet our Pastor of Family Ministry
Jodi Packard joined the Perrysburg First Church leadership team in the summer of 2018 as the Pastor of Family Ministry. Jodi has been working with children and families for many years, and is currently pursuing her pastoral licensing through the United Methodist Church.
